Have not made me mind up whether i'm lucky or unlucky that half the rooms in the house are damp! no storage problems thing is you would never know except for the hygrometer placed in the room out side the humidor - as it feels ok...can't really fix it as it's 70% outside in the street!
I have always considered myself a cigar smoker, not a collector. This is not to say that I don't have some nice cigars with some age on them, but I am more interested in laying cigars down to rest for the sake of taste...not for monetary or collecting status.
Being new I've collected quite a lot of singles, enough for two humidors in fact. The intention was to find out what I really 'liked best' and then limit myself to thoes favourits. But, it hasn't really worked out because now with the colder weather creeping in, the conservatory is just that bit too uncomfortable to light-up and really appreciate any of the longer smokes.
OK, time in the humidor is good for my cigars, but what I've noticed about myself is that I've become quite covetous, even of the smaller cigars. If I smoke my Ramon Allons Small Club or Cohiba Panatelas I'll now longer have them, and what if they are the ones which, if I aged them a bit more might be my favourits? Help I'm becoming an un-intentional cigar miser!
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
Can't help it, when I start getting near to the end of a box I'm enjoying I start to slow down, telling myself to hang on to the last few for a special occasion. 'What if I can't replace them?'
Result being: I now have roughly two of every stick I've ever enjoyed and no idea if I'll ever bloody smoke 'em! lol

Every time I sleep with a girl I smoke a cigar while we do it. It's exciting and makes you feel strong, manly and empowered.

Hahahaha....sounds just like me...also I only ever transfer the contents of a near-empty box into my singles drawers when the humi is stuffed to capacity and a new box is on its way...
