OK so i have read many articles and seen many videos on where and how to cut a normal closed cigar. I am not going to try a torpedo shaped cigar and have no idea on where i should cut it...any advice???
Personally I don't believe there's a cutting point. Cut it where you'll feel the draw normal. If you feel it's tight, cut it a bit more but wait for some more experienced member to enlighten you!!!
i cut it off about 3/8" just to about the same size as a petite corona. im not sure if this is the proper way to cut a torpedo, but damn it! thats the way im going to do it!
Some people cut torpedos and piramides at an angle as they say it concentrates the flavour more. I would say the number 1 rule for me is don't cut too much off. You can always cut a bit more off to open up the draw, but there's nothing you can do if you've cut too much off.
