  • Wierd Dreams

Ive been having some strange vivid dreams after smoking right before I go sleep. I think it might be due to the high nicotine content in cigars.

I quite enjoy the dreams though as the play out like a movie and if I wake up mid dream I always try to pick up where I left off.

    Anyone else suffer something similar???

That usually happens when I have 2 or 3 cups of coffee at 2 am and go back to bed after-wards. Its like I'm dreaming in technocolor at the speed of light.Almost real.

No, your definatley not alone. With or without a smoke before bed I always get some pretty strange dreams.
The wife insists that I often mumble in a strange language and I swear on my auntie mauds hip replacement that I talk dead relatives too!!!

I can never pick up from where I left off if I get woken up though, lucky it's a dream really I dont think the real kylie would let me leave halfway through like that more than once.
Last time she accused me of sneaking off to be Danni instead. Now that was strange, she knew damn well she was standing by her with the camcorder at the time.

I have had horrific problems with sleeping through the night over the years. I would hit patches when I knew I would hardly get a full hour's sleep at night for up to six weeks at a time. It was like a weird thing that descended, and I was resigned to it. The sleeplessness would kick off, and I'd end up doing work, watching BBC or Sky News or trawling through the net at all hours until the morning. Then I'd go off to work and feel totally fucked.

Fortunately this hasn't happened to me for a good number of years, and I don't fear it coming back. I haven't battled insomnia. It has simply gone away. I don't exactly know why - but MAYBE smoking cigars has something to do with it...

If I spend an hour or so over a D4 or any other tasty Cuban smoke before hitting the sack, I sleep like a top. An intense, deep and undisturbed night's sleep.

Nicotine is a stimulant, I believe. And yet it seems to knock me out.

I must be weird. But I don't care because cigars help me sleep whether they are a stimulant or not.

So unlike you, Dot, my body and brain take a totally different route.

I must stress I DON'T smoke cigars in order to get a good night's sleep. They just affect me this way whenever I toke before bedtime.

I have cigar dreams alot... i think its pretty common..... but then again I drink about 20 strong cups of tea a day and wouldn't think about going t bed without a cup of tea night cap..... And I have indeed nodded off late at night in my chair whilst smoking!!!

I'm a sleepwalker, maybe I should get people to study my sleepwalking behaviour when I've had a large cigar
Warning: Smoking cigars may cause a slow and delicious death.

I haven't had a dream that I have remembered for years and years, which is a bit of a bugger as I'm sure I have them I am jealous.

Apparently I talk a lot in my sleep
