Did you check the 11 to 25 yet? Great laughs... the only Cuban is the Partagas Salomones
Agree, but I guess it reflects the market CA which is mainly the US. As with every review based magazine (take wine ones for example) there is an agenda, which is not maybe openly stated but clear enough. CA's agenda IMO has always been to promote the internal US market and the makers that supply that. As long as you know that it makes sense.
... plus you could argue they favour their main advertisers too, though that might be a two way process (i.e. CA saying "we rate you high because you spend a lot with us" or possibly the producer thinking "we will spend a lot because you were so nice to us") so that might be a bit cynical.

There is no doubt economics play a huge role in CA's ratings. I still find it fun to sample the cigars that they rate high and see for myself. Many times their Top 25 list introduces me to hidden gems that I have never heard of before.

While I would agree with MaledettoToscano, Dwag is also right. The review I'm guessing is very popular wi' cigar-folks and advertised well in advance. It's about increasing numbers. Reader numbers and number of advertisers in the issue. I've never seen an issue, but I'm betting it has more pages than usual with the majority of the extra pages being ads.
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!
