Pre-embargo? Guess they were for collectors not smokers. I wonder how many pre-embargo Cuban cigars are sitting in humi's in the US frightened to come out?If you want to, you can.

Camacho still make pre-embargo tobacco cigars. As I understand it they have tobacco that was bundled and had been aging since 1962 (or erlier) in a barn somewhere that was never rolled. How they authenticate it I don't know.Trying is the first step toward failure.Comment

1920s Lord of England 50ct boxs, cigars are in prestine condition, most of it life was in wine cellar to my temp control.

There were also some real dinky little things (in five packs), but I can't remember what they were called. The 'Lords of England' range has since been resurrected by Jamaican manufacturers I believe, but I couldn't find out much about them.
I've possibly misled with the term pre-embargo, but with a date of circa 1920, I guess they definately were pre, the embargo (by a couple of years at least
)

I've had a box in the humi for 5+ yerars - they look so sweet I don't want to disturb them. I have smoked one from a box split & it was very nice:
