Interesting read, soon we won't even be allowed to smoke on our own property here in the states.
oh shoot!! one should be able to do anything in their properties!, that's why it's called 'property', isnt it? besides what might affect others I mean..
if this trend continues, I think 'herfs' will be banned soon as well
Last year at Glorious Goodwood i lit up the fattest stick i had, people asked if i just had a big win , i had but didnt say so just grinned, though it shows how cigar smokers are looked on, and i luv it, if someone comments adversely they get both barrels, i'd never knowingly upset anyone, well maybe some. Usually comments are pleasant and often lead to good conversation. I smoke at a nearby pub in Essex that caters for smokers very well and is on the H&F guide. Plus the missus owns the gaff. www.whitehartinnmoreton.com Herfers welcome
ps not me or the Mrs in the photos.
Yeah i always get funny looks from people if i light one up in public, especialy from people my age, i guess its associated with older upclass people unfortunatly
get out a cigar, or mention a cigar in the uk...and Churchill the first thing people think of....
What a legend!!!!!!!!!!!
sure, it's something greatly influenced by him in this country i think.
go down to sautter's, jjfox and dunhill, staff will tell you Churchill used to store cigars at theirs. I guess they're trying to prove the quality of their service, but in the mean time it appears to me only people like him could be served..make sense to you?
