I've tried a few different REs and have found most to have quite a different profile from the regular line. Best example is the UK Punch D'oro, Surprised it was branded as a Punch tbh.

I disagree; as for the Serie d'Oro IMHO it tastes like Punch cigars of yesterdays: strong, very tannic, quite earthy?

How far back are you going with "yesterday", cause nothing ive smoked from the last 11 years from punch is similar.

The D'oro is an ode to a now extinct cigar and if the punch brand once tasted this good we have been slighted by whats on offer today.

Kam - I had one that a BOTL kindly gifted but it did nowt for me.....I was pretty unimpressed TBH. I really wanted to like it but I just found it a bit mild and boring. A quite nice smoke but not one I'd go back to...especially at the UK price!!

The UK prices are disgusting. Its the only thing stopping me from from buying a box. I think they are great cigars, one of the best out but I guess each to their own...or you just have shite taste!
