i started smoking cigars in havana 6months ago and picked a box of cohiba siglo iii and loved em for the next 5 month smoked nothing but cuban had some fantastic smokes and also had a couple that where crap . not because they where bad cigars just they where either too strong or not smooth enough.
for the last month ive only bought NC and same again had some that i wouldn't touch with a barge pole if you where paying me.
but the la rica rich maduro and the rocky patel 1990 series are two cigars i would be very happy to buy a box of if the cash was spare.
I have definitely changed my view of NCs. Yes, I have had a lot of awful nc sticks, but since fine tuning exactly what ncs to try I have had nothing but smoking bliss. Perhaps aiming for the nc heavyweights may alter your perception of ncs as a whole.
