What are you doing when smoking a cigar?

Just wondering how people enjoy a cigar? Whilst watching tv/movie, reading etc. or just doing nothing else but enjoying the cigar?

Could be an odd question....

If I'm in my cabin; which will be most of the time till next spring, I watch TV or movies. In the good weather I listen to music if I'm on my own but I prefer company and a good chat.

Usually drinking booze and watching something on TV like a film, football or a documentary.

Also usually some music if at home. Or catching up on some reading or internetting. If it's less than an hour cigar I might just completely switch off.

Normally with someone else having a chat or I have a tendency to call someone if not! I don’t smoke indoors so it’s usually that or just enjoying chilling out and enjoying a cigar, admittedly phone in hand but not doing anything else. Sometimes headphones in.

Taking a break from my daily walk, with a coffee at my fav local cafe, there these days I am either playing chess on chess.com or researching my stocks & share. Otherwise, even though I mostly smoke on my own I am more than happy to share my time & smokes, with a few good herfing buddies in Belgium or Aberdeen. If a cigar is good on your own, it can be great when shared with friends.
Oh, almost forgot - when fishing!

I'm always sitting in the garden. I've tried reading but I just can't focus properly on the book as I mainly read non-fiction. I did watch a documentary once on a few occasions which was enjoyable. I'm usually listening to music and enjoying the views of nature.

I usually have on the table a water or tea, now the weather is turning, plus a Rum or Cognac or liqueur, an assortment of nuts, and dark chocolate pieces or a cookie esp with the tea, and taking one of each between smokes means I have no time for anything else, and my smokes tend to take longer than advertised, often 50 min for a PC. Books or TV would be too much of a distraction from the cigar. And no phone anywhere near me. Music is always on, but when the wind gets up I can't hear a damn thing!

I usually watch a review or two from our friends down under. I’m usually sitting in the garden but in the colder months I move into the garage but it’s connected to my house so the smell can sometimes make its way in so I try not to do that too often.

Sat out in the garden right now. Decided to start on the Nirvana catalogue again. Catching up on the forum. Cleaned the lighter, have 2 jets again! Glass of red. And new cigar punch has just turned up!

Normally... Watching something live football if on or catching up with TV shows or films.

Normally I have a bottle of scotch ....but sometimes dip in to the international selection when in the mood for something different.

In the porch or the garden watching Netflix or iPlayer catch-ups with the cans on. SWMBO has recently allowed me to smoke inside - what does she want? In truth, the smell dissipates reasonably quickly and, until it does, it's not an unpleasant background (I say this in case others can use it as an argument as we head into cold times!)

Normally out walking the dog. Catch up on a couple of podcasts whilst getting some miles in, we are lucky in that a few hundred feet away from the house is a forest with loads of trails running through it.
