  • Cuban Petite Coronas Sampler from our sponsor - not cheap - £125 / 8 PCs

For those with deep full up pockets or who cant shop around there's a PC Cuban sampler popped up on the sponsor's site that's a good broad selection. In one of my favorite vitolas. I'm a slower smoker so up to an hour each for me. As theres a little light at the end of the weather tunnel might be worth preparing.

Thats £15 per cigar on average for 8 cigars

You might be able to knock £1 or 2 by shopping around, but postage :-/

I'd be expecting a box of petit coronas for that price! F**k UK prices.

At least if you're buying a third of a box you're only overspending on a third

I love a PC but not at £15! Robustos in 2019 were only around £18 from memory

Alright look. We can't just k keep going over how expensive cigars are in the UK. Lol. We know this. When we can travel again we have more options. Hell, if I'm fully loaded, no storage, I'll happily bring back stuff for you guys when I'm traveling around.

This was just a pointer to a nice sampler. I made the expensive statement in the original post so people are aware.

It's cheaper to do a weekend trip and but a copy of boxes than walk into your local. Way it is.

Much as it may cost more I will always support retailers here where possible as well. If all the lounges and shops go too how long til we’re not allowed anywhere to plus shops are great for getting new people into it

Absolutely, if you do not give some support to retail, then they will disappear, much like the situation of shops closing on the High Street which is now producing cries of anguish by short sighted customers.

They are expensive but you always know what your getting and where you stand. My first ventures into cigars, pipes and pipe tobacco was here, and i will continue to buy bits every now and again. The service is excellent and the products are always in tip top condition.

Not to go too far off topic but if a product in a high street shop was 3-4x as expensive as you could get it for online most wouldn’t pay it. Going to a lounge is different as you’re paying for the social aspect, like going to a restaurant, you could cook the same food at home much cheaper but you enjoy the occasion with friends or family.

Back on topic, it’s actually a very nice sampler that gives you a taste of different Marcas. Going away and bringing boxes back is great but only if you know you like what’s in the box before you have 24 more of them.
