Ever tried the same blend in two wrappers or smoked a cigar where the wrappers come off?

Not to my knowledge and I haven't had a wrapper come off yet thankfully. No doubt I'll have a better idea in the years to come.

Max A A good example of this is the Hiram and Solomon Fellow Craft and Master Mason. The only difference between the two cigars is the Maduro wrapper on the MM and they are two very different cigars.

I have read that the wrapper makes less than 10% of the taste but because we taste it on our lips, it seems more. Remember tasting slat in you'r blood? Well there's only 0.9% salt in blood, that's how good your taste buds are. A dark sweet wrapper, e.g. the EL's will make the whole cigar seem sweeter. I think claro or Colorado Claro, have a more neutral flav & therefore allow the cigar to be enjoyed with the whole flav of the blended cigar, rather than the wrapper taking centre stage. Of course, as Banos stated, it's a personnel thing but traditionally Claro was known as the English wrapper, as it was most popular here.

Connecticut Broadleaf is my jam currently, closely followed by San Andres.

Not particularly fussy but try to avoid Candela.
