I've always thought that a good cigar is one that the person smoking it likes. I happen to like the ACID Roam, but then again, my daily cigar is usually an ACID Kuba Kuba. To me I smoke a cigar like others have dessert so I guess that's why I like a sweeter cigar. I have found that almost all the ACID's burn extremely even and very rarely need to be re-lit (and no, not because you wouldn't want to . I almost never wake up the next morning with a bad taste in my mouth from smoking the previous day. Don't get me wrong, there are many of the ACID cigars I've tried and don't enjoy but that doesn't mean somebody won't.

It is strange that most boards do bad mouth the ACID line, but as mentioned elsewhere in this thread they are a very big seller, and not inexpensive I might say (for here in the states anyway), so they must be doing something right.

I still like Daves comments upon trying a kuba kuba I sent him a while back.
    He said it tasted purple.

I tried one of the Acid range, sent to me by one of our BOTLs and I have to say it was weird. I DO smoke Gurkha Grand Reserve and find them excellent.

    Post No. 2.

The real problem with the Acids and all flavored stogies is....how do you store them?

Don't want them sharing space with your other fine puros, do ya'? So you need a separate humidor to store 'em in.

I tried a sampler of Acids. Some were okay; most were too weird for my taste.

Think I'll stick with "real" seegars.

The best seem to be the Kuba Kuba or the earthiness. The worst seem to be the suitabley named "nasty"

I shall find a decent sitting place amongst young flesh near London Bridge / Cannon Street and blow PROPER Cuban cigar perfume all over the entourage today.

Looking forward to a nice sunny promenade with a good length of fat brown top notch. Later x

PS A number of fine NCs are also available. Just avoid the shite.

I'll chalk this one up as a salutatory lesson and endeavour to stay on the straight and narrow.
Experimenting with taste-bud bending stogies? 'Fabreze' - That's going above and beyond.

I hope this means what I think it means. If it does, I'm co-opting 'Honk' into my daily lexicon. I just love the feel of it.
    Still chuckling - thanks.

My wife has just found the dead length on the doorstep and has quizzed me!?!

That has to be the most comic no-smoke I've ever had.

I'm also really cautious about light-wrapper cigars. This thing had a blonde wrapper. (I don't know the correct term).

Like ramming Febreze into your mouth.

As a bad teenager, I would buy illicit Castellas when I was about 14 and feel puffed up for being evil and underhand.

This thing was like a prop at a circus.

I do apologise to those of you who love them.

I was going to turn to a Punch to get over it but realized I'd be trapped in a marzipan confusion.

I'll honk off a real one later today.
