  • Are these knackered?

I just noticed these spots on some of my cigars, they weren’t like that a couple of weeks ago! I have been struggling to get my humidor’s humidity down and I wonder if that’s caused this?

They just look like water spots. Maybe you didn’t notice them before.

Agree with Kickback, you can send them to me if you're worried about smoking them

These are often called water spots. But I don't know for sure. If you are sure they weren't there a couple of weeks ago that's quite intriguing! I'd leave them and see if they change. I've seen a couple of similar spots. Doesn't seem to affect them!

          Generally they say smoke on

In all seriousness they are just harmless water spots as others have said and your cigars will smoke absolutely fine. Nothing to worry about.

                  Thanks guys,

I smoked the one on the left, a Mille Fleurs, last night and it seemed fine thankfully! The other two that are affected are a 2005 Punch and a 2020 Punch, I'll post a photo of the foot of each so would be grateful for any further opinions. Paranoia's setting in a bit!

You’ve got nothing to worry about smoke them enjoy them. Marks and things like this are just part of buying a natural product with minimal processing.

Yeah they're absolutely fine: remember they are leaves dried out in a barn, rolled up and then kept in a damp box. You've got to expect some imperfections.
