I was at a mates weekend before last who had bought a couple of Cigars from ccc and he was saying he wasn't allowed in the humidor. It's a covid restriction I think. I've not been for years but they used to be fine with you going in the humidor and picking your own selections.

No, not normal. The only shop that didn't want me to go in the walk-in humi was the LCDH in Varadaro, Cuba. The ladies there really did want to let me in & just suggested that I tell them what I wanted & they would get it. Now this was 10yrs ago when the shelves were full but from the door you could hardly see anything, it was an L shaped room) so I pressed my case, explaining I wanted to see dates ect & they finally let me in. I bought LGC EL Immenas & Partagas LE 2011 Series D Especiales, both boxes of 10. And I couldn't see them from the door & would never have thought of asking for them., The sad miss was not buying the LCG or Partagas Jars that were there.Originally posted by Ditchboy81 View PostIs it normal that customers aren’t allowed into the humidor? There was a big NW selection and I couldn’t even see what was on there. Tons of stuff out of the way I had no chance of seeing either. The only stuff I could see was near the glass door which meant I was choosing from probably 25% of what was in there.Simon Bolivar: Liberator of Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru & Venezuela.

It was annoying because their website is terrible so really hard to tell what stock they have in. I hope it’s just a covid thing and that it will be open again at some stage. I don’t mind supporting local but it becomes a bit of a no brainer to buy online if there are no advantages whatsoever to going in the store. In fact I paid over the odds for a few sticks so technically I diddled myself.Originally posted by Simon Bolivar View Post
