I guess I wouldn't look like a "typical" cigar smoker either 33 years old this month and I'm never dressed "smart" always jeans T shirt and shirt and boots lol maybe that's why I get the looks not the sticks 😅 it doesn't bother me really just wondered If it was just me and it looks like it may be rare I just get unlucky hoping I get someone who will ask about it rather than look at me the way they do

"Please can I come and sit next to you?" said one lovely lady.
"I just love the manly aroma of cigars!"

In all honesty to the question.
There are individuals that smoke cigars that actually think it gives them a status in life higher than other people.
The majority of Joe public have no idea what a cigar costs, or understand this stupid ritual of lighting the bloody thing.
Sitting there in full view blow lamp in hand whafting it about at the end of what they think is a ?? sticking out of your mouth.
Enough to make anyone look at you suspiciously.

                You've been reading too many C.A. Magazines.....lol

Not read one, but I know what people think and frankly I would assume the same, cigars are a deliberate choice and very different to cigarettes and they send out certain messages as this thread shows, esp if smoking a Toro or Churchill.
