  • Around The World in 80 Cigars - The Sequel

Greetings all. Many of you have kindly expressed your enjoyment of the first edition of Around The World in 80 Cigars on these pages, so I’m pleased to announce that the sequel is in the pipeline.

I’ve been travelling hard - currently writing from Miami - for this, and other projects - and I can promise you more tales from the cigar world and beyond in a brand spanking new volume.

I’ll be crowdfunding this book and would greatly appreciate your support. You can sign up for more information, updates and Reward info at www.aroundtheworldin80cigars.com

Once again, a proportion of profits from this book will be donated to children’s charities in Nicaragua.

    Thank You.

Great to hear. Loving the first book. Great to read with a nice cigar in the sunshine. I'll take up tales of your travels as soon as Scotland gets some actual sun!

Thanks guys, very kind of you to say so. I love how people really get a kick out of the book. Please let as many people know as you can that the crowdfunding is happening for Vol 2 - I need to get lots of people involved to make this as big a success as possible. The more money raised, the more full scholarships I can provide for Nicaraguan schoolchildren - books, uniforms, trips, lunches, equipment, the lot. Thank you again, I'll keep you updated on progress.

Thanks very much, Moley. A relatively small amount can make such a difference out there.

I'm already in, hope the campaign is successful.

For any fellow forum members who haven't read Nick's first book, I'd highly recommend it and this is a great opportunity not just to get a limited edition of the new book, but also a copy of the first book too and to support the children in Nicaragua.

Thank you very much, trying. I do believe that if we want to keep a vibrant and strong cigar community, we need to stick together - and help others where we can. That’s basically what the book - and cigar smoking, come to that - is all about for me. Wishing you all a great BHW.

Don't know if any of you were watching Nick with Laurence on Sautters Instagram live yesterday evening but while chatting about Nick's new book campaign Laurence pledged to put in another £50 for every backer of the campaign and also give a cigar to every backer! Very generous contribution which by my arithmetic, at this point comes to an extra £1850!

I'd already pledged as I'd love to see the next book and happy to support the Nicaraguan school children.

Morning all. Just to give this a bump and a gentle reminder that the Campaign is still live. I need to get as many eyes on this as possible, so please pass on via social media, word of mouth, email, newsletters etc etc to any who might be interested. We are reached the halfway point on the fundraising! Thank you. https://igg.me/at/80cigars

It’s a shame that a lower starting level isn’t available even with just the new book as reward. The starting level is too high for many with the current financial pressures. Really enjoyed first book, love the podcasts & videos & really. Can’t wait for new book to come out as well & hope you reach 🎯
