Quite the opposite. The wrapper has a huge impact on the flavour of the cigar. I guess depending on RG, the proportion of wrapper to filler on a fatty vs a slim is quite different.

I'm with ShaazK on this one I find the wrapper does make a difference especially a Maduro wrapper
Yep, me too. I have read some experts think the wrapper accounts for 8% or less of the overal flav but you can easily taste salt in your blood & that's only 0.9%. I don't like maduros because of their flav, but I do find they become more acceptable with long aging but I don't buy EL's in general for that reason.
