The only reason I ask for the labels/seals in tact is that my wife is a paper artist and removes the seals in tact for use in her emphenera. Although I am probably going to start disappointing her by asking for future boxes to be inspected!

I wouldn't use a vendor who ships unsealed boxes, and I know at least one vendor who refuses to do so.

Absolutely. And if I were a Vendor I'd want to check boxes when they 'came in' not just when they were going out.

Habanos I believe, also do periodical checks on the stock of 'Authorised' vendors, then boxes would certainly be opened and a second seal applied.
If you want to, you can.

Interesting stuff. I had a few unopened boxes in my humidor. After reading this thread, I took them all out, opened them up and inspected all the cigars. All good so relieved.

Kinda related to this subject, I like to keep my humidor at about 70%, although I know this is towards the top end of the range. I like my cigars on the softer side of springy. What's other folks' view?
