Just went to grab a smoke for this morning (RyJ No2 Tubo) and it came out of its tube with some plume on. Checked the rest of the box & most were the same, plus also had high RH (high 60's & some low 70's) (stored for about 4-5 weeks with 65%)

Removed all from tubes, dusted off & put in a dry box with a 65% pack. Is this the correct thing to do or should I leave them in their tubes?

You've done the right thing. Pretty common with Tubos; general advice is to store with screw caps/lids loose to avoid any plume/mould.

Thanks. I can only assume they have been at much higher RH and have come down a little bit since being stored. Even after purchase I zip locked them with Boveda packs until we returned home.

I'd also check the cedar in the tubo while you're at it.

I tend to aim for 62-64 and have never had any major issues.

Me too! In general at least but external high humidity can sometimes lead to a little plume so always best to check.
