Very interesting.. I might give it a try over next couple weeks. Has anyone else tried Shenfield Wine Company also for a ‘lounge’ - It says tasting on their website, (assuming for the wine), but can you smoke there?

Been there once. It's a drinks shop primarily with a nice built in humidor. Only sampling I'm aware of is outside the front of the shop though. Which is in the open. So you better check first.

Understood, and makes sense.. might go when I’m down that way just for the sticks…

any rooms you’d recommend that aren’t tiny / always empty?

I go to quite a few American ones when travelling, and they seem more social and full each time I go.. not had that experience yet in the UK.. I haven’t been to a ‘Puffin Room’ yet, which I might try out next
