My cleaner, knowing I like cigars gave me a couple of boxes that her son in law had got from a house clearance. Has anyone come across 'Flora de Caresco' cigars before? Not sure whether to bin them or stick them in the humidor for a bit before trying one (and then, in all likelihood, putting them in the bin!) Willem II as a marca I have found on Google although not Harmonie - a similar vitola to a Short story. The only one that hopefully is salvegable is the Churchill which has (I think) an old band.

Just unwrapped one of the Willem II and inside the cello is a price label dared 2005 for F 13.00 - I assume French Francs, so about £1.20, 20 years ago. From the feel of the cigar I think they were possibly stored in an airing cupboard 😂

Old Churchill band in a new tube too. Nothings ever simple. Nice of cleaner to pass on though.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Some of them might be Dutch cigars which are often dry cigars that you don't need to humidify. Might be totally smokable but if they're being in a drawer somewhere for decades probably not

It wouldn't be French Francs in 2005 though. The Euro was well underway by then and if it was Swiss Francs it would probably say CHF.... Maybe?!

At 13FB a cigar that would have been about 25p in 2005. Clearly a quality stoogie 🤣
