Would they not drop to ambient humidity in that time?
I thought the whole idea was to smoke the cigar in the enviroment in Cuba i.e. about 65 to 70%. I find cigars that are too dry a bit harsh don't you find that?

That`s weird, I always think the NC burn better straight from the Humi.

I will try this dry box thing and see if it makes any difference.

Mine are tending to expand and tear the wrapper a little when about a 1/4 down...

Hi Giga, the humidity in Cuba rarely drops below 74-75% with the Cubans quoting 80% as average...

Being from the so-called "other side of the pond," (State of Mind, Mexico, actually), I generally smoke my finest puros straight from don TJ's magnificent humidor, but I don't freak if I leave one out for a few days before sparking - both smoke fine, IMO. mine.gif
