How to begin my "cigar journey"

Hi,

I am a cigar smoker - beginner. I usually shop for cigars in local cigar shops. But I can?t find a good shop over here, with good selection and one where I could also get a good advice.

I thought I might shop for cigars over the internet, but I have an opposite problem - overchoice. I don?t know what to choose. So many possibilites... :-)

Could you give some tips for good cigars for a beginner. Some good value for money. Or just point me in the right direction...

Think best way to go would be getting sampler packs and take it from there. Most stores have them and you can see from that the variety of cigars of the world.

Personally I buy random cigars and from there check reviews and then make other choices from there.

Where are you Peter? If you're outside the UK, just check the internet for special offers and take it from there. A good sampler would introduce you to this excellent, but expensive, habit.

Expensive habit - you are right. :-) What suprised me - US eshop are much cheaper than any euroepan ones I have seen. Is that because of higher taxes in europe?
