  • Spring Clean Anyone?

Spent this morning checking, tidying, cleaning my humidors & storage..I do this about this time every year.
It's given me about 20 odd cigars that will be smoked over the next couple of weeks as they are a little 'iffy'. ie: swollen or splitting foot, minor crack or simply distorted or a lonesome NC or a sad single when I know I should buy a box...it forces (kindly) me to evaluate where I'm at & stops me just cherry picking from 1 humi which I find useful..
Anyone else have a spring clean?
    Puff.
    P.S where's Sludgie gone?

Wish I had that many to choose from Puff..........

My 50ct humi takes about 5 minutes to sort through

Likewise. I can open my humi and see all the contents laid out. And still see most of the bottom of the humi. But then I have naughty thoughts about what I can purchase to fill the voids. I have a sampler coming this week and hopefully buy a few on the way to/from Croatia ext week.

Checked my humi's today and liberated a few

just the agonising decision of what to fill the space with.

Just before my Cuba trip I went through the cave, the humis & the coolidor. As you say, I found a few I thought I 'd smoked, found I must have smoked some but hadn't crossed off my list. Think I was a few ahead in the end. Don't worry guys, it really takes less time than you think to accumilate a stock that actually needs stocktaking; 8yrs ago I only had a 50ct myself.
Here's the earliest photo I have of my collection, from June 2006, the 4 drawer walnut humi was pretty new then; a month or so after joining Club Havana, my bank balance has never been the same since.CigarCollection.06.06.jpg

I am pretty much starting from scratch again after selling most of my collection recently. Keep trying to tell myself that it was very liberating!
