Had a combination on Saturday night that just worked so well together.

A Cohiba Siglo4 with the Amarone Cask version of the Arran Malt. http://www.arranwhisky.com/TastingNotesCaskStrength/

    Superb!!

I love a White Russian with a cigar! I've just started experimenting with Whiskey but the White russian is hard to beat for me.

For me i enjoy a nice single malt Speyside even better a dark rum. During the warmer weather ive enjoyed a nice magners over ice, brandy , red wine .port alcohol in general works well.

i usually find that a nice red wine (such as a chile shiraz, argentinian malbec or chateau neuf de pape) works well with cigars!!!

champagne works exceptionally well, as does a nice cava when money's tight!!!

i usually opt for tea instead of coffee (anything from twinnings range, esp. earl grey, lady grey, assam, lapsang souchong and good old darjeeling)!!!

as for spirits, southern comfort on the rocks, neat irish whiskey, honey whiskey liqueur, grand marnier, havana club rum (anejo especial & 7 year old), cognac, gin & tonic (hendrick's gin with fever tree tonic)........ and also pimms (i'm a recent convert)!!!

i don't like beer or lager with my cigars, but guinness work well!!!

and last but not least, the humble ol' can of coca-cola (full fat of course)!!!

    all the best,

    alex

A good D4 and a strong cup of Bewley's Irish Breakfast tea, half a teaspoon of honey and liberal semi skimmed milk in the tea... breakfast of kings!

Any quality port, aged rums and heinrichs gin pairs well with a CC.
    For me in particular

Havana club rum with a PSD4 or JL2
Heinrichs gin with a HDM PR
Glenfiddich 15 with a party 898V is very nice.

Apparently hot chocolate with a secretos very well.

I'd love for someone to try the combination I recommended in the OP, to get their take on it!
