In order to make amends...free sticks to anyone who has been inconvenienced...

My inconvenience stems from the much less publicised (and shorter) stick a stick in thread. Regardless, the risk was my own and I don't expect anyone else to compensate for that. I would only expect that the guilty users be penalised in a manner suited to the crime e.g. some form of permanently visible negative feedback if they eventually live up to their promises and something more severe if they don't (it currently looks like Danny will fit in the latter category). Plus the issue shouldn't be allowed to be ignored as seems to be the case on the stick a stick in thread.



P.S. If the compensation stick offer was genuine, it was very kind indeed.
