  • Cheers for hosting....first regular JL I've had and really enjoyed it....was quite mild smoke but very enjoyable. Really thought but was a short filler due to the ash keeps dropping...little do I know hahaha

Got one more in the humi...how old was it?

For me it's not about the guessing. It's about the blind tasting. Followed by the known tasting from the same box! Should be consistent right?

        And the variety of course.

i have only had a couple. i will never identify but i take it more as determining if i like the stick as it is rather than because its a certain brand etc. No preconceptions. In this case i wouldn't buy again but i do have another tucked away and i am willing to be proven wrong!!

          • I went through a 50s cabinet of these and would not have recognised it. Must have been fairly young?

            • By the sounds of it some of these sticks seem to not have 'settled' yet. The one i smoked was spicy, and full bodied, and it reminded me of the JL2 I smoked a few months ago. The fact that some of you chaps have stated their cigar was mild certainly makes me thing it was a mixed batch! Which is one of the reasons I like to buy two of the COTM

I mean who smokes more than one cigar at a time?

I don't know, JL has never been sold in Spain, in Andorra and France I know they are, but not exported to Spain curiously.
