Last time i did a blind taste test with a Quai D'orsay Imperiales I thought it was a Bolivar Corona Gigantes so at least my palate is consistently wrong.

Good choice, would have never had this as a QD...

You should give them another try, one of my favourite marcas. But I have to say that I didn't like my first Qdo either. It took me a few sticks to come and appreciate the marca. I find that the older releases need time down. The 50 is a nice cigar that will probably become a great smoke in time. Didn't like the 54 a lot but will need to revisit.

You should try the Capitolio, it's a stellar cigar already. I sent a lot of boxes to the UK so I'm pretty sure that one of the guys on here would be able to trade or sell you a single. [emoji2]

So this is only my second QdO! The first was probably 2 years ago. And it would have been from around 2008/9/10 based on roughly when I got it.

It was a bland smoke....

But this was certainly not bland! Light! But nice.

I feel a little like my mum forced me to eat greens when I was a kid and I had to admit it wasn't bad...

That is my first one from the Marca...I have to say I really enjoyed it....great start to the year.

Will have to buy a few more of these.
