    I'm game, count me in!
Mike: Neil, it is very rare you interest me, but today you have. Why do you keep coming in here, carrying a cake, and saying surprise?
    Neil: It's my birthday.
Mike: Now you knew that anyway, and we don't care, so where's the surprise? The Young Ones

Can I just make clear this whole swap is not about getting equal to what you send or what someone sends you, you are only meant to send one stick, any more you send is ok but is up to you. I thought this was clear but some people have sent me PM's saying they are worried about not sending enough sticks etc.

Its all about giving not recieving folks

When you draw the names, are you doing it so the person who sends is not the same person who recieves? i.e instead of a & b sending to each other, everyone gets a name to send to? and not the same person they recieve from?

Traditionally it's been a and b exchanging - presumably on the basis that it's a straightforward exchange of addresses (amongst other reasons, I suspect).

exactly Simon, to keep things simple I will just post a list of names showing who you will swap with then its up to you to contact each other, when we first did this I tried doing it all via PM but it was too time consuming to be honest.
