Cigar of the Month Club July

Had first one last night - started out on mild side and graduated to just below medium. Was a couple of slight filler spaces in construction, but the creamy flavours were superb, but by far had one of nicest finishes of a cigar I’ve had in a long time. The finish alone makes this one of the best COTM for a long time. I hope the second is as enjoyable - lip smacking - I partnered it with a salted caramel stout and it was the perfect partner

Had mine this morning, may be the longest I’ve spent smoking a single cigar. Very tight throughout even after PD but it happily burned away anyway just smoked very slow. Incredibly mild but a lovely sweetness to it, and the last third was particularly good.

I’m confident it’s a custom roll and I’d say not one of Alex’s and I suspect probably not Johnny O’s options either. With a few years on it. Though I could easily be way off with that!

I found the same tight throughout so a slow burner however still pleasent and definite hints of almond sweetness. The other will be put to rest to get some more age on it

Just smoked my first COTM. As a complete beginner that knows nothing I would say it's a tight draw, but it wasn't the end of the world as it didn't interfere with the enjoyment too much. It's definitely light and creamy, but I would guess this is because it's aged? As for a guess, I wouldn't know. One thing I can say, this cigar has been the most evenly and we'll burning cigar I've had. I've seen a few people saying it could be a custom roller, I guess a good burn would point to that as they must take great pride in ensuring the cigar is well rolled and an optimal construction for an even burn.

smoked my first one yesterday in the haze of the flying ants that hit South West London. Very enjoyable stick with thick creamy and smooth smoke, started lighter but got more flavourful the further into the stick I got.

I got earthy notes throughout. from the look of the stick and the foot I would have to guess it was a custom roll. Though as i've never had a custom roll before I wouldn't necessarily know I was having one.
