Not going to be a great review as it is my first review so go easy on me

From when I took the cigar out of its little cellophane house it looked flawless, definitely the most well constructed cigar I have seen. The cut was very clean with no flaking at all throughout the full 75 minute experience.

From the begining and the pre-light draw it had a very spicy/peppery flavor and aroma. This pepper flavour continued from the start to the end and was broken up every so often by a very earthy taste but the spice was still predominant throughout.

The burn was very even from start to finish with no tunneling or one side burning quicker than the other. I did need to re-light a few times though (due to a poor first light as I was outside in the wind with matches).

After about 50 minutes into the 75 minute smoke I started to get a real strength buzz and this continued to make the remainder of the smoke much less enjoyable (this is probably due to my newbie status).

Overall a very good smoke, the draw was perfect with just a slight resistance and put off a lot of thick smoke with every draw. I think I will buy one in a few months and hopefully won't get such a strength rush from it and enjoy it slightly more.

    Appearance (out of 15): 15
Smoking characteristics (out of 25): 23
    Flavour (out of 25): 20
    Overall impression (out of 35):30
Total score out of 100: 88/100

Let me know what you think of my first review please guys

Spot on review, better than my Monte No. 2 review. Re-lighting was a nightmare! I can't believe the wind was against us. Going to order more matches...

That's probably a good idea Luke. Hope your'e enjoying your evening with your other half. I just think they need a bit of ageing so they aren't so strength buzzy (not sure if that is the right phrase lol). TJcoro said that should help, might have to buy one in my big new year order . I shall pop your beads in the post to you tomorrow AM so you should get them mid week I reckon. Once I get my new year order there may be a bomb coming your way

i really love the flavor of the V, i had my first one at the big herf this summer (cheers keith) and have have about 10 since. i have found them to be hit or miss on how they smoke though as some of mine have tunneled, which is not my normal experiance with oliva. i do love the flavour when you get a good one though!
                nice reveiw

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Looking forward to trying the Nicaragua sticks ive got coming form you James.

Generally of the NC's I have had, the Nicaragua smokes have generally been the best.

Got a pack of 5 on its way of these..

                          Never tried one..

Also got a pack of 5 of the Master blends 3, which i must say are excellent cigars.
