Well I've seen,in quite a few places, these cigars described as ugly.Absolutely not so in my humble opinion! Flawlessly constructed with a lovely, chocolatey cold aroma.Right from the off and for the first inch or so it's a real spice bomb with a long, tingle on the tongue finish.Beyond that initial spicy opening cigar seemed to settle and become a lot milder (relatively),although always medium/full in body.Wonderful rich espresso flavours, earthy and very nutty, more specifically walnut,I thought
It burned absolutely perfectly and never became hot or bitter,I think I'm quite a slow smoker anyway (about 1hr 15) so I suppose that helps. This will most definitely become a staple,go to cigar I think.I'll smoke the next one with a nicely strong coffee,I think it'll be perfect with that.So if this is the 2000 Maduro,I can only wonder what those '26 and '64 et al series are like?!!!
