Ok, I've cracked into one! No resting for cigars over in these parts!
Pre-light draw is great, chocolaty scent off the foot. Masses of smoke initially, caught me off guard! Nutty, nutty! Very pleasant.....the burn so far is a bit haywire and when I set it down for a minute it tends to go out. No problem though, thats why I own a lighter!
I'm so impressed with the construction, just such a beautiful stick. Enjoying it so far Bad-Yeti is a Good-Yeti!!

We seem to be getting pretty consistent thoughts on this one, normally reviews of the same stick are all over the place...

        Jury Still Out!

I have smoked a few different sizes of this stick (I'm told they are all the same blend, which is usually the case with NCs) and have not been overly impressed.....yet. But since I have not had the opportunity to try the Presado (my local B&M is always sold out), I will wait until I do before I draw my final conclusion.

As far as thecigar of the year....I don't think so.

BUT WHAT THE HELL DO I KNOW!!!

Ok... Now for my Jilly Goolden'esque ( that irritating woman who was on food and drink) inexperienced thoughts upon this.

This stick was a few firsts for me. My first box pressed, my first review and my first purchase from the forum (thank you Yeti).

Firstly it's a very good looking stick with a sweet smell and peppery predraw. That spicy peppery feel never left throughout the whole smoke, mellowing slightly towards the end and never getting unpleasant. Definite peatyness (if that's even a word) and a nutty aftertaste but I have no idea what nuts.

Loads of smoke but an uneven burn throughout, like others have noted once left for a few minutes it needed a good couple of draws to get going. Had to relight after I left it for five to get another bottle of Kwaak.

All in all a good hour and 30 in the sun. I'm not too keen on the box pressed but looking forward to trying the other one, will give it a few months in the humi.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.
