  • Romeo y Julieta Petit Julieta

Having not enjoyed the RyJ Puritos I wasn't expecting much from this little 4" x 30 stick especially as the fill felt soft and loose. Nothing off the wrapper except a mild tobacco scent but then what a pleasant surprise. Once the initial burst of pepper from lighting it subsided it settled in to nice pecan flavours with a long creamy finish. The burn was perfect and it gave 25 minutes of smoking pleasure with plenty of smoke and nice fruity aroma when exhaled. The last inch got a bit warm and peppery but what do you expect from a little stick like this. Overall not bad at all and better than some big ones I've had.

Yeah, nice little stick and nothing at all like the Puritos IMO.

How was the age on this one PJ?
Just cracked open my box from 06 and nubbed it amazingly. Took a while to get the flavours to kick in. But it was worth it!

They both tasted nutty and creamy to me and they were both a soft fill though the Julieta had a more defined flavour. My address is in my profile as I'm not shy but I don't have a wishlist.

I agree with PeeJay about the Julietas - an enjoyable short smoke. Actually I have always thought that, in theory, a short slim cigar should not really work given the complexities of each brand recipe - but they do. I do notice small cigars tend not to age as well as larger ones but that is just a personal opinion.

it has take me years to reach 100 posts - PJ has 1,000 in the blink of an eye
I'm sure there are greater things in life than a fine cigar ........... but right now I can't think what they might be.

Yeah, i meant in flavour profile... I found them quite different. The Petit Princess is a nice little step up from the Julieta with a similar overall experience IMO.
