Tar can build up around a punch cut.... Jizzbo had a great picture of it happening.

aye. rare occurances. only happens when the cigar is too dry or too wet.
Sometimes just happens out of the blue. Mostly with Non-Cubans as they have more incombustable substances which leads to the bitter tar.

No such thing happened here so just a strong stick that was smoked for maybe a tad too long. I miss it :-(

Glad you liked them I'm plugging them hard to my Genova mates. Will pick up another 30 next week I really like them. For me they are better than the carlito but it's horses for courses.
