I picked up a box of these recently after liking the one I tried in Germany in December but I don't intend to touch them for a few years now though

That's my opinion on pretty much anything over 56 - they just seem to me to be marketing ploys. Terrible shame, though I am one who prefers 50 and below as a rule.

That said, I did rather enjoy the HdM Grand Epicure when it was fresh off the boat; it doesn't surprise me that it's gone a bit off currently though. If the one I tried was anything to go by, they mature very nicely. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these Simon, I'll be interested to hear other people's thoughts and track their progress over the next two to three years.
