The following are my (rather basic) notes recorded in the Cigar Scanner app as I was smoking. I'd be interested to see what other people have noted for the same cigar? I have trouble pinning down a lot of the flavours so some of the words may be a bit 'off' for the actual flavour I picked up... But regardless, this (to my taste) was an outstanding cigar and I believe would be worth a try for anyone (even all you Cuban die hards 😜).

Very loose draw to start, bit of pepper, very nice woody flavour, barnyard, leather, lots of flavour into main body of cigar, beautifully balanced spice, sweetness coming in after 1½inch, very smooth, strong leather with less spice towards second third, gorgeous bold flavours, coffee, sweetness continues through to half way, oak wood/peat at half way, more spice into final third, flavour darkens, a little more muddied towards end, but still tasty right down to nub.

Jesus 😂 I mean it lasted me 2.5 hours and was excellent... but I'm glad I picked a box up about 2.5 years ago from a 'third party'... I'm surprised anyone sells cigars in the UK these days. Surely anyone paying those prices would think nothing of a long weekend in America to pick up a couple of boxes.

I have a part box of these from Tomm783 which I love and a box of the Sixtos in the mail. In fact I smoked one last night.

How are the Sixtos compared to these? I've wondered if theres much difference in the flavour

They are definitely a special occasion smoke. I bought a box of 10 and they're by far the most expensive I have. But I intend to smoke them one a year for my birthday, I'm 2 down so far and thinking I might need to buy another box for the following 10 years 😂

I've smoked a couple of robustos and they are a quality smoke but a little on the darker coffee and earthy side for me, I like the lighter flavours of the Alma Fuego more, esp now as the winter draws in, but next year I will try the Hexagon and Generacion, they look terrific if not priced that way.

I have a Del Campo lined up to smoke soon, see how that compares.

Yeah I think at that price it would have to be a special occasion smoke I have been eyeing them for a while toying with the idea of getting a few either those ones or the LFD Bull
