  • Lonsdale blogs - Seen these?

I am not sure if you chaps have seen these but one of our friends from Ireland has been blogging about the 12 Lonsdale's of Christmas.

I must be slipping as I missed this! Thanks for the heads up, I'll be checking it out in greater detail.
Some ideas for new sticks to try there.

They are really great reviews. I can't think of the last time I saw a review that stopped half way through because the stick wouldn't smoke.

        Trini EL

Very interesting article and I think that the Trinidad EL would be the pick of the bunch IMO. Shame the one in the review was no good.

I have had a similar experience with all my Ingenios. Quite a disapointment considering the price?

Great review and I have yet to have a Trini Ingenios that I have enjoyed (but I know some people rave about them).

I'm pleased to see that the 'classic' londsdale (Rafael Gonzalez) got a good write up.

Really good reviews all round (I agree with the consensus on the Trinidad) and I feel it's a vitola that needs a bit of a push...

I wonder how the Monte D will score; or the Larranaga regional? They are in the photograph and I have smoked them both recently and am curious about other opinions.

Excellent spot Nic. Thanks for bringing it to our attention as I think the Lonsdale is possibly my favourite size of cigar (depending upon my mood, obviously...)

You've also reminded me that I still owe Yiorgos a couple of cigars from the mini-poker series in the summer...

Where have all the Trinidads gone?

                    .

                    What? A push in demand?

The Lonsdale vitola needs a push. It's much more elegant and refined than a robusto.

The Trinidad Ingenios does NOT need a push! I have also never had a good one; the flavour profile isn't Trinidad at all.
