  • Mr B. Review : Bahia Trinidad

A rather slow, but good tuesday, lead to a leisurely evening smoke here in the UK.

I dusted off a Bahia Trinidad robusto, the first sampling of this brand for me. I must say I am rather impressed. I am a stickler for Non-Cuban smokes, and it's for cigars like these, that I am!

That magenta-brown cuban-cigar-esque wrapper, contrasting against the orange band certainly was a tasty site.

Burn was fantasically behaved out in the mild, slightly windy garden, with only a few burn adjustments needed. The taste was rather woody and 'full' for lack of a better word. The draw was rather delightful too. What's good about this cigar (other than me wanting to review it!) was the end part. It's been a while since I've smoked down to the last inch, and I didn't want to let this one go. I can only describe the taste in the last quarter as a full-popcorn taste. A new one in my book! It's been in my humidor for ages and I'm certainly glad I dusted this one off for tonights smoke.

Tempted to get a box, but that's always what I say after a good smoke.

Smoke em if you got em!
