I am going to London next month, and I've noticed there's quite a cigar scene there, being the cigar capital of the UK it would be nice to smoke some cigars there.
I know of a few places where you can buy cigars and smoke them inside or under a heated outdoor area, but they all seem very James Bond black-tie type. Which also means they're going to be expensive.
So I'm looking for somewhere a bit more casual, maybe somewhere I could bring my own sticks too. Any suggestions?

Head here....You can sample cigars upstairs with coffee or tea and probably enjoy great conversation with someone interesting. The staff are very friendly and not at all snobbish. Also in St James there are various other cigar shops such as Davidoff just along the road or the Dunhill Club in Mayfair.

Buy cigars online from James J. Fox. Experienced tobacconists supplying premium cigars, pipes and accessories - we're based in St James & deliver worldwide. Order online.

Couple of good suggestions there Andrew, a fan of Boisdales Belgravia myself, better outdoor facillities than at Caranry wharf unless weather very kind. You can certianly bring your own, I do all the time, no admisson fee (?10 in evening to over cost of live jazz) & beer under a fiver a pint. I call in en-rout eto an oil rig, so no DJ or lounge suit & dragging a case with me but I try to look presentable at least.

All of the central london cigar terraces come with central london prices. As Simon says (put your hands on your head) there are plenty of pubs and restaurants with outdoor heaters to enjoy your own sticks.

...although in this weather 10 Manchester St may well be money well spent.

            Hey! I know somewhere good!

I was explaining on another thread about the 1a St James's shop - near Davidoff and JJ Fox. It is on the corner of St James's Street and Pall Mall. Why not try all three!

Casual is fine and you will be very welcome
I'm sure there are greater things in life than a fine cigar ........... but right now I can't think what they might be.

Many of the cigar terraces will allow you to bring your own cigars (which I'd suggest as prices are very high) subject to hitting a minimum spend, usually around ?25 per person, which is easy enough with a couple of drinks. I'd recommend the cigar terrace at the Mayfair - they have a ?20 minimum spend but I think they're quite relaxed about it. Also, the Wellesley has no minimum spend before 4pm and they let you bring your own smokes.
