        I would think baking parchment would be best to avoid losing the oils to the paper, rice paper is surely more absorbent than wheatabix.i expect there is a good reason for it that is far more technical that I can comprehend but it seems odd to me. Are they a smoke now cigar?

          At four years old they certainly are and the paper has had no adverse effect in that time.
