Went to Budapest last June, can't tell you much about shops out there, but smoking laws are in place but lots of places cater for the al fresco option. I was certainly made welcome with my Monte 4's!

Mate went on a stag do there, LOADS of bars! There's even a hooters in district VI.

Budapest is a beautiful, friendly city with the best metro system ever (slightly antiquated, but great) and they do bacon wrapped giant pretzels in all the bakeries, how can that be a bad thing?

Thanks, will look into that the next time we go. Had such fun the last time I went, I just need some cigar time to make the experience complete!
