Will be heading to Turkey later this year and just wondered if anyone has any experience of the Duty Free at Antalya Airport. I read that there is a Cigar Lounge but can get no info re stock or prices. Any info would be much appreciated.
Went to the duty free section in the arrivals lounge and they had nothing in the way of Cuban stock but had a small range of new world cigars, including a variety of the AJ Fernandez New World Range as robustos and belicosos, some small boxes of Davidoff sticks with a range of names and vitolas, boxes of vegafina cigars in a range of vitolas as well as the Zino cigars. They also had a few boxes of the Oliva series v 'Liga Especial' as figurados and belicosos and the 'melanio' in torpedo format.
Didn't know enough about any of these to pull the trigger upon arrival, but am interested in knowing what people on here would recommend getting based off their knowledge and experience with these cigars.
Thanks Midas, any recommendations from the Davidoff range to keep an eye out for? Keen to try them out too.
I have pretty much no experience with Davidoff other than maybe a few late hours a few years ago. I think they’re known for great QC but expensive for what they are compared to other NC options. I’m sure they will have a selection of them in fivers though so you shouldn’t have to commit to a full 25.
It's a small dedicated walk in humidor on arrival, going out the cigars were in a humidor amidst all the other tobacco products. In terms of selection it was pretty much the same in both locations with mainly NC stock. Nothing Cuban, save for some minis. May have changed since I was there.
I didn't really venture out much from the resort we stayed in so don't really know anything about lounges/B&M retailers outside of the airport.

Got it, thanks! Finger crossed that some treasures await!
