Evening gentlemen, I am in Geneva now for 5 days. Have visited Gestos and wow what a place, a little difficult to find but worth it. Now while the cigars are cheap, the weather is crap. Does anyone know any good smoking lounges, cosa's or bars that you can actually smoke in? I visited the angleterre hotel but the selection of smokes there were limited and 4 times the price of the shop prices.

    Any help would be appreciated.

We did go to a nice place last year with JoAnn From Gestos that had a smoking terrace

So this is what I bought from Gestos to smoke while I'm here. I found Davidoff close to Gestos but it is closed on Sunday's. Tomorrow is the day I will go back here. Also visited Nyon which is about 15 minutes on the train outside Geneva.

I found a shop here called La Couronne in the town. Good selection with a nice humidor but beware here, the online price is far cheaper then the shop price. For example; monte no4 online - 160chf, same box in shop 260chf! His reason was that the online stock was different inventory. Sounds suspicious to me so didn't buy anything here and besides, Gesto is far cheaper.

We also visited Tabac Rhein but the guy here wasn't very welcoming and his selection of singles was poor. On their website it says they have a comfortable smoking lounge but when I asked about it he said they didn't have one? Anyone else know of this? I wasn't dressed in a tux but wasn't dressed shabbily either!

It seems if your young and enquiring about cigars in Geneva people don't take you seriously as if you shouldn't be smoking or even visiting the shop, the only place where this doesn't matter is Gestos where the lady was quite welcoming and doesn't make you feel awkward for being there!

Also found that hotel Kempinski along the water front has its own cigar shop too. Would have thought a hotel like this would have had a lounge but alas no. Will visit tomorrow to look out for a little more stock.

We stayed in the Warwick international, actually can't find one thing wrong with the hotel! Right outside the train station so could hop on a bus every 5 minutes, most comfortable beds, good food if you want to stay in, for 5 days including flights from London Stansted ?248, was one of the cheapest we found.

Every restaurant we went to was beautiful, the people are friendly and the cigars are cheap. Will probably go to Zurich later in the year, to get a train from here return was ?200 so it's cheaper to go home and fly back.

Obviously the weather wasn't good but the architecture in your shots is very austere and unwelcoming. My son did say that Switzerland is closed on Sundays.

Literally nothing is open on Sunday's so the only thing to do is drink! Geneva old town is quite stunning though.
