Chaps, Have just booked a week of late summer sun for end of September.

A quick search on here has revealed very little. I've found a place in Arrecife called Puro Y Tabaco which sounds promising but the website doesn't offer many clues as to what's on offer.

Any recent visitors on here that can offer any tips on where and what to buy?

We're staying in Playa Los Pocillos, near Puerto del Carmen, but will be renting a car and exploring the island.

    Gracias.

My parents lived in Lanzarote for a few years. I don't remember any proper cigar shops per se, but most of the supermarkets, even smaller ones had a humi well stocked with Cubans

Maybe not the time to pick up any LEs or rarities, but certainly some cheap boxes and 3/5 packs.

The airport however, is terrible for cigars. If you do want to pick up some, do so on the island.

I'd be interested to hear about the Arrecife shop if you do end up going!

WDave40 Cheers, much appreciated. It sound as though it's not a cigar-desert, at least! I'll be sure to report back on the Arrecife shop. Fingers crossed it does what it says on the tin

Horsebox I had a long weekend there last November and bought in the Airport. The choice was small but I bought a 25 box of Partagas Aristocrats and they were excellent

PH45 Discovered the Aristocrats this year after seeing PeeJay rave about them. Unbeatable value. A mighty stick for a small price.

Ph45 any memory of what else was available at the airport?

I also bought Jose L Piedra for gardening cigars as they were ridiculously cheap

At Spanish prices it seems rude not to buy JLP's when the opportunity arises!
