Where's the laughing emoticon when you need it? Haven't left the country for two years!

Thanks. Would they wrap them with a sealed bag and boveda packs? I don’t live near my mother so might be some time before I can get anything she manages to bring home.

Just get your old dear to wrap them in cling film until you see her. That should do the trick for a few weeks anyway.
Or, get her to post them to you since you'll probably not be able to wait for weeks until you see her anyways 😉 ....(if you're anything like the rest of us on here)

Thanks for the write up Haaltert. I'm new here and happened to be in tenerife so I went over to the Osor store. Managed to get my first Cubans, as well as some local Canarian cigars that the chap recommended me.
I think it was Jorge that I was served by as he seemed very knowledgeable, just a bit hard to work with my broken Spanish!

Great post Steve! Was hoping to go to the canaries in October, as yet undecided on which island.

Brilliant post mate. Heading to Tenerife next week and staying not too far from Costa Adeje, might try nipping in to one of the shops there one of the days for a little look

Hi Haaltert.. a few questions if I may

Are canary island prices fixed like mainland Spain?

Are Canary Islands prices cheaper than mainland Spain?

Presumably in both cases you can get cheaper at airports duty free?

Thanks bud appreciate that, I'm back now after a very relaxing holiday just sitting at the pool and drinking cold beer! Didn't get a chance to go into Costa Adeje mainly due to just sitting around doing sod all but picked up a 25 box of Vegafinas and a 5 box of Davidoff at the airport just coz they were cheap and accessible!!

Did they have much of a cuban selection at the airport?

Hardly anything, some 3 packs of Hoyo Petit Robustos, boxes of 25 RyJ puritos and some 5 x 20s packs of both Cohiba and RyJ minis. That was it. I picked up a couple of the Hoyo for a mate.
