Heathrow terminal 5

Hi all.. anyone got an idea of what kind of selection there is at duty free on leaving via terminal 5?

And what sort of prices do boxes of 10 / 25 go for in UK airports? Please feel free to give any examples or rough estimates

I’m not sure at present. I went through in December and there was real trash, nothing worth even taking a second look

Depending on where you heading, might be better getting on your inward journey.

I am going to Egypt and flying back from Cairo, some one out there has assured me they have a decent selection upon departure but only limited on arrival. Been advised not to buy elsewhere in the country

Was thinking of taking 10 or so for the 20 day trip.. just weighing up whether to take some of my own stock or buy 10 at either Heathrow or Cairo. Will be buying 100 on the the way back for sure

Not specific to terminal 5 but Heathrow in general the selection is poor and it’s still expensive compared to almost anywhere you could be flying to. If you want minis or budget Tubos that’s normally all that’s there

I haven’t flown, like most, in the last couple of years. But the last time I went through T5, the February before the first lockdown. There wasn’t much to write home about. And cheep it was not!

As far as stocking for a holiday I always ensure I have at leat 2 sticks per day plus a few extras, normally the larger vitolas that I don’t usually have the time to Indulge in.

Covid test permitting I should be flying out through T5 on Weds. Happy to have a look and report back, in my experience selection is usually poor though.

if you could get a few photos of the selection and prices that would be great.. from what I have read the shop in terminal 5 has a better selection than the others

Very slim indeed.

Re Rolex, you’re lucky to see exhibition models. Went past PP, AP and RM this December in Dubai, not even exhibition models on display, zero.
