  • Cigars in Bangkok

Landed in Thailand a few hours ago and went straight to a LCDH in one of the hotels.

    £44 for a single Magnum 54 with a cabinet of x25 costing £1100 !!!! Same price for a cabinet of D4’s.

Thankfully I bought travel humidor with me packed with 15 sticks.

I also passed through Dubai airport and they didn’t have a single box of CC’s.

I couldn’t believe it when she told me the price.

Theres a load of cigar bars over here too (one in our hotel) but I’m buggered if I’m spending almost £100 on two cigars.

I visited Bangkok LCDH in Feb '20, on our cruise. Prices were so crazy then I couldn't bring myself to even buy a single as a souvenior.

They have always been on the expensive side in Thailand, I have always picked up in dubai on the way through but can't even do that now by the sounds of things.

            Crazy times

              Absolutely bonkers pricing.

I had another shop to go to yesterday but didn’t even bother going in to it.

Not a scrap at DXB and that’s where I was hoping to stock up on the way home.

First time through Dubai in 2015, I found a box of JLPC 2001 for E148 & Hoyo PR 2013 for E190. Still smoking both. Seems those days are not likely to return any time soon.
