A friend of mine was passing through Geneva yesterday. The selection was very reasonable.

Every time I go abroad and I take stuff with me, I always punch them first to check the draw and even then I make sure I have my PerfecDraw with me

Yea, that really blows. It'll happen to every CC smoker, and at the worst of times too.
Checking the draw before lighting is a great tip, though. Generally cigars will want to swell slightly when lit and puffed on, so it's best to do any poking around pre-light
Also, it's good to gently feel your way up and down the stick to try and check which part is likely causing the restricted draw. If it feels overpacked towards the foot the draw will usually improve once you get going, whereas a hard tip (giggity) will only get worse as the smoke starts to flow, and must be sorted ASAP IMO
