  • Vilamoura - Portugal

Having read though some older posts on this destination I have contacted one of the shops & they have sent through a current stock list. Anything worthwhile getting?

There doesn't really seem to be any huge savings on high end sticks

They're supposed to be getting some more stock on Friday apparently so will update if they send a new list

Looks like the prices have been cut off but from a budget friendly Cuban point of view you can't go wrong with the RG Panatelas and Perlas and RyJ Tubos 1&2.

Sorry that was me trying to screenshot them so that they'd be legible. I hope to have about 2-300 allowance if anyone might be interested in a box split? I'll possibly be visiting them twice so can confirm what they have.

I've got a couple of boxes of the Capitol Jack and they're worth trying.

I tried one in Spain recently and was decent so may top off the allowance with some of those if nothing else comes up

The price lists have nothing to do with availability! Just because they show a price, most aren't likely to be in stock. But always worth checking...just incase. No singles allowed,, unless tubed.

This is actually an up to date stock list from them apparently. Asked if they could take a pic of the humidor but no dice 🎲

Keen to get there and spend an afternoon making selections over a coffee & a select smoke

I must say, they are very helpful over WhatsApp & have reserved me the following so far

                  *Rafael Gonzalez*
                  -Perla (Box 25) x1
                  -Panatella Extra (Box 25) x2
                  *Quintero*
                  -Petit Quintero (Box 25) x1
                  *Jose L Piedra*
                  -Cazadores (box 5) x1
                  -Brevas (box 5) x2
                  *Partagas Mille Fleur* (25's) x1
                  *RyJ Mille Fleur* (25's) x1

This comes to around €850. Hopefully I'll have around 3-400 allowance, just need a way to bank roll it 🤣

They also got in some Monty Petit Edmundo & Partagas D5's but all Cuban stock is 2025 or late 2024 at best. Intrigued to see what else is in their humidor as I'd really like a box of JL's

Well that is rather impressive, to have an up to date price list, that is actually in stock.nibyou check Spain's official price list, there never see to remove anything & contains loads of 10yr deleted items, presumably, in case some backwater shop might have one or two left.
Personally, I'd ditch the Quintero's for another box of RGPX, better flav & value IMHO.

When I was in Spain not long ago, the 2nd shop I went in was diligently doing a stock count, so imagine this is what they produce for inventory purposes. The communication over WhatsApp is a great option which I didn't realise would be so useful.

Nice pick ups there. Any sign of the SLR Adamastors on your travels?

This is about as best as I can find unfortunately. In the last few months I've been to France, Spain & now Portugal and zero sign of anything reasonably exotic. There's plenty of high end Cohibas, Monty's & Partagas (for silly money) but no LE's or RE"s. Haven't actually seen any sort of SLR actually
